Jenny the Gorilla is 55!

I've seen her a handful of times over the years, I remember back in the early 80s going with my new at the time little sister who is also a Jenny and thinking it was damned cool my sister was named after a gorilla.

Dang. She's the same gorilla my mom saw when she went to the zoo as a girl.

On our last trip to the zoo I learned the bald eagles are as old as I am.
