NEW JOB!!!

Postby lennon » Sat Dec 01, 2007 12:14 am

I now work for the finest coffee company in the world. Thats right, Georghe now works for Starbucks. Not at a store but at the south central regional office (mockingbird and central).

FREE coffee kicks ass!

GO ME!

Congrats! Good company to work for, I hear.

I'll take a grande non-fat latte with two pumps of peppermint please.

Please let the office know that the service at the Custer/Renner location is superb.

Awesome!

Yes indeed. Sounds cool. Is your office at Mockingbird Station? I worked on the fourth floor there for four years.

Congrats! I get so nervous on new jobs I almost throw up.
Good thing I've only done it twice in ten years.

i wont go into specifics but starbucks and peets histories are connected.

"can you ask them not to over-roast their coffee anymore?"

thats what makes starbucks distinguishable from other brands.

and yes the office is just north of mockingbird station at 6116 ncx. i have a nice view from the 12th floor of the BLUE turley law center bldg.

It's also what makes it taste burnt. I hate Starbucks' drip coffee for this very reason. It's gross - distinguish that.

However, as the espresso goes, I confess to being a total whore for the iced quad venti vanilla soy latte.

And as an employer, I have a number of friends to whom they've been very good. Congratulations to you, sir.

Did you wear the red sweater to the interview? As a mitten, perhaps? Is that what landed you the job? Glad I could help.

It's not just the roasting, they put like 2 tbsp of grounds for each serving. The Starbucks drip I make @ home is yum.
