It's STILL fucking RAINING.

And I'm really, really sick of driving around in the stuff.

If I wasn't so broke at the moment, I'd so be looking for last minute weekend fares to some place where the sun shines occasionally. At least the mosquito population is thriving.'

Also, I've got two leaks in my condo and they can't patch the roof til it dries. FUCK YOU, NATURE.

You guys are weird. Rain is fucking awesome.

Watching the dark clouds roll in, feeling the cool winds blowing as the rain starts to fall, getting soaked to the bone and not giving a fuck; rain is one of the coolest things this planet does.

Living in the Thunderstorm Capital of Canada is a trip. We had a pretty wicked one the other day, I got to hang out in the basement with the wind-up radio.

"Hello caller, you're on the air."
"Yeah, I'm in the underground parking garage at the Bayside Mall and the power's gone out. The gates are locked shut and there's about 20 of us down here."
"Oh, wow. That sounds crazy."
"Yeah. We're hoping the power comes back on before the zombies come out."

"cool breeze?" *snort* i don't know about ohio, but there's nothing remotely "cool" or "chilly" or anything related happening down here.

My brother spent a summer in Nepal (summer is monsoon season there) and he said it has been comprable here. Which means: hot, rainy, moist, and bug infested. MMMMMMMMM lovely. I've always wanted to see my door frame covered in snails and count how many mosquito bites i can get on one square inch of my arm.

p.s. michael, i'll stop you before you make some kind of hot moist joke. :]
