That's one more tick mark for the 'CONS' on the babies question.

The fact that this is probably one of the last things we thought of is just the very reason why we know it is so true.
Brilliant!

I say, why can't both be true? Based on the state of affairs around the world, we could probably use a good alien decimation or mutant cross-breeding program pretty soon.

Does anyone remember the WKRP where Bailey produces her first segment? It's with a PHD on child development that goes much the way this bit does.

You prefer a surgical delivery?

OR

Are you saying that you think it's selfish to have your own biological children?

I am confused by the double negative.

no, im just saying i dont this its selfish not to. as in, i'm not a subscriber to orthodix jewish and catholic procreation beliefs.

the only time i think its sort of selfish is when people spend tons of money on IVF (especially trying it multiple times) instead of using that money to adopt. i understand the sentiment, wanting to have your own genes passed on and see how your kids turn out, have that bond with your husband and experience childbirth... but after a certain point it just seems silly. there are tons of babies out there.

anyway i PERSONALLY dont enjoy thinking about childbirth, but i'm wee yet.

Three of my favorite people in the world are products of IVF, so I don't agree. . . however, I am not sure why they didn't choose to adopt instead.

"IVF", right. Definitely aliens.

I won't argue with your alien conspiracy.
