I heard today that super-duper Christians are protesting Steak n' Shake because the manager at one store wouldn't let a youth group pray together.
Then Steak n' Shake replied. . .
They weren't just praying. The youth group leader stood up, instructed all of the patrons in the restaurant to join him in prayer and yelled out a prayer. The manager asked him to sit down and pray with his table only because it was disturbing other guests -- who, with the 1st Amendment, have a right to pray or not to pray.

Plus, you can get chili on top of anything there. Haven't put that to the test yet, but I will.

MMMMMM Chili shake!
I like the part where it's really just a fast food joint but you get a waiter. A touch of class I can get with.

I think they think of themselves more in the lineage of the classic diners rather than fast food, but that is who they compete with.
