Pontiac owes Thumbsucker designer

Yeah, I thought of Thumbsucker immediately when I saw that. "Friends with benefits," huh? "Friends," buying things that give bonus prizes to everyone else, huh? Are people really dumb enough to buy something as substantial as a CAR in the hope that some pyramid scheme will give them a free laptop one day? And the "Friends with benefits" thing seems so inappropriate. Not in the "omk I'm so offended" sense, more in the, "what a ham-handed way of trying to insert innocuous sex appeal into an ad campaign" sense.
edit: At first I thoguth this thread ws called, "Pontiac owns Thumbsucker designer;" which may in fact be the case...
