Ahev you ever faked an illness because you just couldn't face another minute of work?

I've only done that once. I was waiting tables as a second job and I had worked something like 19 days in a row without a break (One full-time job and the waiting gig was turning into a full-time job). They wanted me to work a Sunday and I was tired and was relaxin at a friends house and finally called in.
I would have won an Oscar with that performance.
But otherwise, I just can't do it. I feel massive guilty. I worry that there will come a time when I really need all those sick days and I'll regret not having just 8 more hours of paid time off...

Our vacation time and sick time are all in one PTO pool. So the last two times I've called in to say I wouldn't be coming in that day our receptionist has asked sharply if I was sick. I had to bite my tongue from telling her what the hell do you care? I know she doesn't give a shit about my actual health, and with that tone she asks, argh...
you know what sucks...I'm really sick right now, left work early and everything. However, I HAVE to go to work tomorrow or actually to our All Staff meeting in Oakland (work in SF). If I don't at least show up....it will look "fishy" since my boss wasn't in the office today. So regardless of how I feel I will show up tomorrow (maybe breathe on the all) then go home if I still feel like utter crap (as I do now). UGH
