A friend of mine is spinning at this bar/music venue, and it's 80s night. There's also a dance-off. I don't know if I am going to dress like the 80s or not, but it will be fun either way.

I was planning on going to Austin, but I did that last year, so I think I will do something more low-key this year.

Happy New Year everyone!

I wanted to go out dancing or see a good band, but alas not much is happening that I'm all that interested in around here. So instead my friends are having a smallish gathering at theirs and I'll be attending and bringing the new year in with friends and champagne.

I haven't decided. But I do know what my resolution will be: Credit cards. Again.

I'm hanging out with 2 Scots, 1 Canadian, 1 Mexican-American and a few other Uhmerkins at the Pink Ranch near the railroad tracks.

Same stuff since New Years Eve 1988 (when I was three): hookers and jam.

Yuck! I can't do black-eyed peas.

But toasting the New Year with choco milk has served me well for many years now.

Ohhhhhhh, was it "eat black-eyed peas" for good luck?

I thought it was "catch a glimpse of Roach's junk" for good luck -- because I did that.
