Nobody knows. The person has never come forward to reveal their identity.

This is one of my favorite of the traditional carols. If you would like to hear a truly transcendant version of the song go hereand downoad the "Music from the Show".

On a recent episode of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" they had a group of New Orleans muscians perform this song - as part of the show within a show plotline. I am usually not a fan of the jazzy versions of traditional Christmas carols, but this one just knocked my socks off - perhaps I've just never heard it done this well, boy those guys can play!

Check it out, download it, put it in your holiday mix - I think you'll like it. I suspect the itinerant horn players in our midst might find it particularly appealing.

Sy "and watch Studio 60 cause I like it and don't want it to be cancelled" bil
Are you on the list?

That was pretty nice. My question about Studio 60 is how they can shoot a TV show without any lights on.
