Of all the days not to have an early release for these kids....the day before christmas holiday.

Make sure you pump them up with outrageous amounts of sugar before you send them home!

That's how the FWISD has done it since at least last year. I think it's to allow teachers to finish up anything that they have left before the holiday but most leave as soon as the kids - unless their planning period is right before dismissal and then they leave earlier. I know, I've tried delivering Holiday gifts to them at that time.
