AFI's top 100 films
I want to watch all of them. Right now I'm watching An American in Paris.
I myself am hell;

I have a friend who just recently finished the list. She said it was quite daunting.

WTF?!?!?!?! Tootsie is a genius movie.i think i'm saving Tootsie and Citizen Cane for last. The two least savory films.
I got the Blockbuster version of Netflix so I'm going to attempt to watch 2 a week until I finish. Then I'm going to move on to the best 100 foreign films.

I love Citizen Cane.
OH! Funny Story. The other day someone said to me, "All I know about Citizen Cane is Rosebud is a slut."
"WTF?" I said.
"I watched this show one time and this couple were in a fight because he ruined the movie for her, and then he was watching Citizen Cane and to get him back and ruin the ending of his movie, she told him 'Rosebud is a SLUT!'"
I laughed and laughed. Then I told him he really needed to see Citizen Cane and then he would laugh too.

Holy Shit...
I have seen 100 out of those 100 films.
Ja"I guess I can say I finally used my film degree for something"mes
PS- You can do without seeing "Birth Of A Nation". It's important because it was the first to do certain sorts of film shots, but in general it's boring and the subject matter is disgusting.

Wow. I think I've seen almost all of those films over my life. That actually surprises me a bit. I think the only one I'm pretty sure I haven't seen is "The Best Years of Our Lives."
What I find really interesting is that many of those flicks are ones that I watched over and over with my family growing up.

Re: AFI's top 100 films
Personally, I thought it was one of Ms. Hilton's less notable performances, which is really saying something. Although you do have to give the girl some credit. After all, she was starring opposite Rick Solomon and we all know there isn't a whole lot to work with there.Right now I'm watching An American in Paris.
I give it two reproductive organs down.
Due to the economy, I had to let my signature go.
the ending of an american in paris (the musical, ehem) is incredible. its a 30 minute dance sequence to music only, no lyrics. gene kelly coreographed the whole movie and he did an amazing job. it was like an actual dance performance, where you're trying to figure out the exact story line and it used all different kinds of dance, not just tap which is what you usually see in musicals. they used ballet a lot, also swing, and even modern dance.
i havent seen A NIGHT IN PARIS which is the more well-known film. cough.
