The Great Gatsby is one of my all time favorite books EVER!!!!!!!!!!! :)

And I love thunderstorms (as long as no trees fall in our yard and no water gets in our basement).

When you travel, do you try and stay at a certain chain of hotels or do you just go for the best rate?

give her non-gendered toys like legos or lincoln logs (are there lincoln logs in england? i don't recall many log cabins in british history. maybe there is a castle building kit -edward stones or something like that) or puzzles (i loved puzzles at that age)

why does my network connection keep dying? it pisses me off

I'm a big fan of Power Puff Girls stuff, but I think they're probably "out" by now.

I got my niecies and nephewies Toys R Us gift cards; I know if sounds weird to give a kid a gift card, but they like to have "their OWN money," that they can spend however they want. Lets 'em feel in control.

EDIT: Squeezle, I think the cats are doing it. They want you to play with them instead of the computer.

Did your mom let you pick your own clothes as a kid?

I think so, because I remember wearing pink, purple, red or aqua pants every day when I was age 6-9.

Do you ever forget to eat a meal?

If I get very involved in something, I will. Then I notice I'm ravenous and eat a way too HUGE dinner.

When you buy groceries do you pay with cash, check or credit card?

No. I don't. But give me fifteen minutes on the internet and I'll be an expert.

I am, by choice and necessity, an expert in nothing.

Yep. I got hit by a motorcycle as a kid and learned my lesson early and I learned it well.

What safety precaution do you ignore but inside... you know better?
