Yes, but I have to take off by 3:15-3:20 because Christmas Eve starts at 4 at my brother's house.

Looks like the similar flight that arrives today lands at gate C31. . . which is near a TGI Friday's. We got flair.

I should know this, but do we need tickets to get to the restaurants inside? How much of the airport can we access without boarding passes??

ok, I'll be there, but where is "there?" Without a flight that day we can't get into the terminal, so where are we meeting, what are we doing?

Isn't there a hotel at terminal D? With a hotel bar?

I'm almost positive we can't get to that TGIFriday's without a boarding pass.

The Grand Hyatt DFW is connected to Terminal D and has a restaurant and a more bar-type "M Lounge" -- that serves normal drinks and food I'm sure, too.

Maybe one of our Terminal D guys (Justin & Sam) can shed some light about meeting space in Terminal D accessible to non-flyers?

I can only advise on where to park; level 5 nearest the elevators at either corner (north-west or south-west) of the garage.

Let's meet at the M Lounge inside the Grand Hyatt DFW (that's the new hotel, right?) at Terminal D.

Froggie, you'll have to go through security again when we're all dne, but I think that's the case even if we just meet you in your baggage claim area.

I will only have a little while, so here's hoping the flight is on time, etc. :)

I'll be thhere around 2:45 - 3; it always takes at least 15 min to get off the damn plane even if it is on time.
My parents are being non-commital about where we're doing Christmas Eve; they want to do it at the lake house (1.5 hours south) and I'm pretty much thier hostage at this time of year so I'm not *technically* allowed to have plans of my own, but I'll be there as long as I can be.

yea!

it was fun, if brief! i ate a turkey sandwich and had some coffee. mere had some tea and a banana. sunny just had some coffee. we sat in the lounge at the grand hyatt and cackled as if we had known each other all our lives. fun fun and thanks for coming out!

frog"actually kind of glad to be home, though"gy

Yes, good fun. I learned what waitscotting was, and the correct industry pronounciation.

It was fun and easy. If you have a chance to meet Froggorino in an airport hotel bar or anywhere really, do it.
