....so...I'm thinking of maybe...studying abroad and Oxford is on my list.....

any of you ever been or studied there before and would be able to fill me in please??....(what's it like to study there, how are the accomodations (study rooms and such, yearly fees.....etc :D )

or...you may suggest another country/university...I don't really care about the money.....really....wherever I'm gonna go it's gonna be expensive anyway :) )

thanks :P

OMK! yes!
cat is studying at oxford at the moment and so i'm sure she'd be able to tell you all about her experience so far -from what i've heard, she's been having an amazing time. i'm going to manchester, so i'm going to tell you you should go there, but that's me being selfish   what is it you want to study?

thanks ellie:)

some people have been telling me you need really good grades to get in Oxford.....which is not my case right now.....well it's not that bad.....but i'm unfortunately not a straight-A student....I could but I kinda messed up in high school and college....so I really need to get my shit together for the fall semester and do as good as I can.....

and I'll prolly be a teacher's assistant for the english department.....it cannot be that bad after all.....

my main interest is communication/TV/Film (I know there's none of that at Oxford).....but I might also re-think my options and apply into something else/somewhere else......what about Manchester??;)

Yeah, oxford is straight As for pretty much every course. One thing you really really really should look into is the money, as it really could work against you. We have to pay 3000 pounds per year for most courses, although you pay that via a repayable loan. However, overseas students can certainly be paying 4 or 5 times that amount. That is a LOT of money; especially considering the strength of the pound at the moment.

All the information you will need should be on www.ucas.com, for any university. good luck! :)
