yeah, that's what's funny. The same thing would have happened in England, but with people wearing track suits, burburry, fake gold chains, and overly pronounced cockney/essex accents...Yeah. Leno does this schtick as well. It easy to interview enough people, get enough dumb answers and edit it to make it look like everybody's stupid.
It could be done in any country.
And who, outside of New Zealand, knows wtf NZ's prime minister look like?

I think the percentage would change depending on the location. My hometown of Weston, TX would be in the single digits.
Here's the question that, on a bad day, would have been embarassing for me. "Name a country that begins with a U"
My first thought was Uganda. I was like "Oh, Yeah! United States! Gah!"

Wait - what IS the price we pay for living in a cacoon? Just that foreigners think we're dumb? They're just jealous because we're alowed to be ignorant slobs and get diabetes by the time we're 12. Losers.
Actually, I think the non-dipshit factor is a lot higher than these things make it look. I think it's got to be at least 70%. I also think they go to street festivals where peiple have been drinking.
Hey, look at that! I guess I still do have some faith in humanity after all! I have faith in Americans, even!
