I don't either, really. I don't know if it really changed much for some people in certain places. I was raised in Mississippi for my first 8 years, and visited many years after. It's still weird there.i don't care why you happened anymore.
Historically, supposedly horses and dogs made good meat during the siege of Vicksburg, my hometown on the mighty river. The Civil War is the only thing that actually happened in that town besides riverboat gambling and riding. I don't know whether that's good or bad, but I do love the river.
I just wish I had some of that Confederate money my grandparents probably threw away. It's now worth something again.
