Race for the Cure

Postby Doomius » Fri Oct 13, 2006 7:21 pm

I'm usually not one to solicit donations from anyone, but I decided to participate in this year's Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure. My goal is to raise $200 for what I believe is a good cause (my mother is a breast cancer survivor). I'll only post this once because I hate to spam, but if you can give anything, I will be greatly appreciated!

I'm torn. I'm proud of you for doing this for your mom.

But, I don't like that they let boys in that thing nowadays. One of the coolest things ever was to be walking down the street and see nothing but thousands of women as far as you could see in front and behind you (no, I didn't come in last). Very inspirational.

But I suppose "eyes on the prize". Whatever gets us there.
