I only wish I had the $100,000 to pay for it.

Yea. They mention their plans on a blog somewhere on that site. In a nutshell they are producing the high end cars and the profits from that go back into R+D. They are then planning to offer a mid size sedan at around 45-50k and then later on offer an inexpensive model for the masses. I hope that plan comes to fruition. On the 100k model you can have solar panels added as an option.i heard on npr that they're selling a limited run of these to finance the production of a four door sedan for general consumption.
woot.
