i remember seeing this on mtv long long ago.
when you connect the song's loops and samples to their specific visual references you can really see gondry's visual ingenuity.

it's hard to do that w/ the poor quality youtube'dness.

I liked it, actually, but after a while it was just as frustrating as it was enjoyable to be caught up in someone's dreamlife confusion. I just wanted the plot to progress, but of course it couldn't.
