yeah, but unfortunately I've been mega-slammed at work for the past several months and haven't been able to get my shit together. Perhaps I can get it together for Champion's League.

If I wanted to stop it, I would have locked and/or deleted the thread(s).

This is my gentle ribbing. Plus, I've heard the fauxrum has but a faint pulse.
Well, I wouldn't exactly say that. We have picked up 28 new members in the last two weeks alone. Things are just now picking up.

I will do my best to keep the Spork fans on my side though.

hell, I don't care. I would like the fauxrum, however, to get a good healthy smattering of new blood.

(look, no ill will :])

I know that. I didn't take any offense to your original post. It is pretty cool that you coined a new term though. :)

if you'll notice my original post, I do claim to be a guerilla etymologist. I invent words all the freakin' time.

(I'm almost as good as Dubya)

well i'm not going to talk about it too much but the set list was definitely different. but i really didn't like all of the new songs. they played like seven new ones in a row and they all sounded the same and i was really bored during them. and i definitely miss seeing certain people on stage. ;/

but they played la la and during the encore they played some good ones so i was satisfied.

so uh yeah

well aside from nearly flipping my car and dying on the way home, i enjoyed the night hellofalot.

lithium was amazing. and i liked a lot of the new songs, though since they kindof played a lot right after one another it kindof got boring but like tim said if you can't play it all at your home town, who can you play it for? or whatev. but im not complaining.

but yeah, it was definately good show and i plan to catch sufjan sometime. even if the closest he makes it back is austin...

p.s. i had fun picking on some of the sporkshirt wearers.

ima forker, yo. gotta keep it real.

yeeeeah, i dont know.

i thought exactly the opposite. the spree will be back in about three months (probably), with a tighter, more entertaining show.

when the f is sufjan going to come back?

{There have been other times Stevens has said he does not really plan to make an album for every state, specifically listing Texas as a state he will "probably never do."} -->mojo

I agree completely. Sufjan may never grace a Dallas stage again, where as spork will probably at least one more time. Sure, he might come back to Austin, but I wouldn't hold your breath on that either.

As for the not making a record about Texas, that's a good thing. For one, there are so many records out there that deal with Texas (maybe not as overtly, but they do). Second, he can't. If you're not from here or spent a bit of time here, you have no business writing about it.

David Garza tonight (and next thursday, and the next) FREE at Club Dada. (around 6PM).

If you have never seen David, go... tonight... no excuses.
His shows are always really FUN!!! He's been touring like crazy this year!

On a side note are there any gray forkers t-shirts still available for purchase?

I do have just a few left. What size were you wanting? And, to pimp my bigger agenda, I have shitloads of red shirts left. Any takers?

ive got a grey, what do the reds look like?

edit (an aside):{Some American writers tend to assign wistful, positive connotations to grey, as in "a grey fog hung over the skyline", whereas gray often carries connotations of drabness, "a gray, gloomy day."} -->wikipedia
