18.07.06 | J.Spaceman® Acoustic Mainlines

Spaceman is set to embark on a rare acoustic 9-date tour of the UK this Autumn. The dates will showcase some of the songs from the forthcoming Spiritualized album as well as tracks from the Spacemen 3 and Spiritualized catalogues and songs from other artists. He will be accompanied on all dates by a string quartet, gospel singers and Doggen on Fender Rhodes. Spaceman has also resumed work mixing the follow-up to the hugely successful Top 5 album, ‘Amazing Grace’, which was halted last year due to serious illness. wow. that was awesome, i had goosebumps on several occasions. we got there in time to snag some good seats near the front - highlight for me was hearing 'walking with jesus' acoustic with 4 piece strings and 3 gospel singers.

we sat in the same row as an elderly couple, my assumption was that they were the grandparents of one of the string section. i'm not sure what grandma made of the support act lupen crook though.

and ladies and gentleman we're floating in space... pedals1
