i'm now downgraded to only being able to walk briskly. i noticed some discomfort in my knee recently and went to have it checked out. apparently, i have patellofemoral syndrome, which is a fancy way of saying my quads aren't strong enough and it's fucking up my knee when i do high-impact things like running. so i'm on an anti-inflammatory and can only walk for a couple weeks. but after that, i'm back to running with a (low impact) vengeance!

well walking is a great form of exercise with much less impact. so enjoy your brisk walks! :)
