Re: While we were sleeping...

If you are looking to go mobile, look into Tapatalk. https://tapatalk.com/

It is pretty much just a plug-in to your forum but your end users will need to install the app. It is a good app and there are quite a number of forums out there that are using it.

Re: Facelift

Good to see you guys back online again. I hope one day message boards in general will make a comeback. The Spree forum has been a ghost town these past few years since everything has moved onto other social media. Facebook just doesn't have that same feeling that the forums have.

Honestly, I wasn't trying to stir anything up. I was just having a little fun. As far as Mr J's post being censored, I know nothing about it but I will see what happened because that is the exact thing I don't want to happen over there.

How is everyone by the way? Long time, no post.

the band needs to butt out of the forums, honestly. it stirs up a bunch of unneeded drama. they blame the fans for starting drama when it's their fault for reading every single word their fans are posting on the internets. if they didn't feel the need to get involved then there would be no grief an...

If I said the "H-O-O-P-S-Yes" parts were horrible, joyless and annoying, it would probably come off as sour grapes or something. . . but they are!
No. You aren't far off at all. I was thinking that they wrote down a list of words that sounded anthem like and wrote a song around it.

The Spree and FC Dallas once again.....

From Gorillavsbear: The Polyphonic Spree has penned the new theme song for our (well, Frisco's) MLS squad, FC Dallas. I was a little confused as to why it's called "Hoops" (apparently that's FC Dallas' nickname?), but it turns out the Spree is well-suited for making stadium jams. Not sure ...

Speaking of Teasley.....

This came from his Myspace site. Thought you might get a chuckle..... I'LL BE IN DALLAS FOR 3 WEEKISHES Hey, I'll be in Dallas for 3 weeks or so without a car. I need to make new friends in Dallas who have cars. Please let me know if you want to hang out with me. I'm funny and not all that dangerous...

You can listen to the entire Pick of Destiny album at the link below. The first track with Meatloaf and Dio rocks.

I know that. I didn't take any offense to your original post. It is pretty cool that you coined a new term though. :)

If I wanted to stop it, I would have locked and/or deleted the thread(s). This is my gentle ribbing. Plus, I've heard the fauxrum has but a faint pulse. Well, I wouldn't exactly say that. We have picked up 28 new members in the last two weeks alone. Things are just now picking up. I will do my best...

Bye Bye Robes!

"The Polyphonic Spree, centered around Dallas rocker Tim DeLaughter, opened Monday with their odd and appealing mix of indie rock and chorale. They dressed in black militaristic uniforms, sang uplifting lyrics to rock rhythms and balanced between the indie rocker DeLaughter and a 10-piece femal...

I've been trying to get a copy of that Rock Lottery track for months with no luck. Now I am really interested in hearing it and compare it to Mental Cabaret. I thought I'd downloaded it but a quick hunt through the hard drives hasn't thrown it up yet. will let you know if i find it. Thanks. Texasgi...
